Maison et object: a history of love in detail

Three years later - it’s surprising how time flies - we have come back to the show that saw CITMA be born. Many things have changed in the city of light: now we don´t find a mass of Chinese businessmen in every restaurant of the city and the snow hasn’t surprised us either in the boulevards.

Paris receives, with a leaden grey, the presence of the enterprising in an edition, 2010, marked with the commitments for the secure value and the risk limitation. As a Truffaut film, we have shown up to ogle in slow motion and we have left a wide report about the Show in our Flickr.

Nevertheless, for those who couldn't visit it and would like to keep informed, we undress the tendencies in 14 points...

  1. Little risk, much crisis and more fear. “God save the markets”.
  2. It consolidates as an Interiors Show.
  3. Quality and Design are still in Italy.
  4. Little home furniture with very natural wood and colors. Little stridencies and absence of high gloss.
  5. Too many natural stone substitutive.
  6. Some innovations in chair systems and opening devices for tables.
  7. Oak keeps being the main figure in material.
  8. Kitchen keeps being the subsector that marks furniture innovations.
  9. Much French public, little Spanish companies and warning, Portuguese companies are coming!!
  10. More outstanding hall: 7A and B where we could see something different.
  11. Plentiful presence of imported low quality product.
  12. Our congratulations to the company Guadarte for its stand, in a good location, it was noticeable.
  13. Everything is clear. Nothing is dark (an antidote to the crisis?) a local market trend?).
  14. Abundance of fabrics stands full of public. Much felt and some novelties in materials.
