How to get off with a sofa and four chairs - new emotional advertising


We were wondering in CITMA about what we call emotional advertising and searching for examples, we found some links which staggered us. This IKEA advertising video has been seen by almost 2 million people - more than the traditional furniture magazines print run together in the whole Europe and it leaves no one indifferent. It shows different ways of getting off. I recommend watching it until the end:


What is clear is that there are currently thousands of manufacturers and brands in the world trying to take advantage of the possibilities of internet in order to create new advertising campaigns with larger impact. We have come back to the main square of every town where people chat, recommend themselves, give their opinions about everyday things…but now things have changed and they do it now online.

We have some successful examples in Andalusia and we will analyze some of them in future Blog articles. One of the companies that is taking advantage of these campaigns in an extraordinary way is Merkamueble, that with the video “It’s this way. Merkamueble” has achieved more than 40.000 visits in You Tube. It’s the furniture related video most seen at the moment in Spain. The indirect advertising concept from the Merkamueble brand and the idea are so original that they don't deserve any more explanation. Here you are for those who would like to enjoy and comment.
